The framework stays open

Contributing

Contributing means extending, testing, translating, applying or disputing the framework in a form others can examine. Each perspective remains signed, dated and citable, and is published beside the argument it addresses.

Ways to contribute

Critique or addendum

Identify a boundary, omission or assumption and show why it changes the framework.

Research or evidence

Test a function, measure a condition or document where observation breaks down.

Case study

Apply the framework to an institution, information environment or public question.

Translation

Carry the work into another language while preserving version, citation and defined terms.

Contributing perspectives

Two companion readings keep the framework open

Anna Pereira is a research scientist and author whose work bridges human factors, perceptual science, embodied cognition and the physics of life. She reads the Wheel as a living system and asks how people and institutions observe, coordinate and revise their understanding.

Dr. Barbara van Veen is an independent researcher and futurist working across emerging technologies, strategic decision-making and systems thinking. Her addendum examines responsibility, attention, knowledge, technological change and what an informed citizen actually does.

How we handle your details

When you request a download we record your name, organisation, email address and the publication you requested. mensen.work is the controller of this data.

We use your details to understand who reads our work and, where you have consented, to contact you about the publication you downloaded. If you opted in to updates, we may inform you of future research. We do not sell your details. Submissions and your contact preferences are stored in Google Forms and a linked Google Spreadsheet in our mensen.work environment, with Google processing the data on our behalf.

If you choose to be remembered, your name, organisation, email and contact preferences are stored in this browser for 180 days. Later download requests reuse those details. Use “Forget my details” in the footer to remove them from this browser. This does not delete your previous submissions.
